Pete Visclosky Votes Yes for 50 Million to buy an Island, Then Says We Have to Tighten Our Belts

Well, this is another head scratcher. Pete Visclosky is suddenly concerned with Federal government spending?

Pete Visclosky addressed the Crown Point Rotary yesterday and one of his comments regarding taxes was “…that he thought it was a problem to continue to spend with the size of the country’s deficit and said ‘changes have to be made.’”

Well la-di-da.  He is in full campaign mode and feigning concern with how the Democratic controlled House and Senate is spending too much money, deepening the crater called the deficit. Yep, look at the charts here and see for yourself who has been breaking the bank. The Republicans never even dreamed of blowing wads of our money like the Dems have done.

This guy talks out of both sides of his mouth. After attending three town hall meetings with him, I can tell you first hand that he is an arrogant, polished politician who is more concerned with what looks good in print. He will not answer questions directly and is blowing smoke up the collective a$$es of all of Indiana District 1.

How does Pete Visclosky reconcile his voting YES to spending 50 million dollars to buy a cotton plantation in the U.S. Virgin Islands?

Hey Mr. Money Man, that is OUR cash your are throwing to the wind.

Huh?  Hypocritical much Pete? You are a rising star on the most corrupt politician list, being probed by the House’s Office of Congressional Ethics, (we will see on March 2 if they take action), using your campaign funds for legal fees.

Do the people of Indiana really want to stay on that path, re-elect a career politician who has shown us that he really does NOT care about the people?

If you are fed up with lies, generational theft, corruption, backroom deals and career politicians who do not care about the people in Northwest Indiana then help Rob Pastore with his campaign for U.S. Congress District 1.

Go forth and multiply, do what ya gotta do to clean up Congress and protect the Republic of America.

Is it Racist to Suggest Obama go “Gangsta”?

Obama didn’t get his way with some appointments so some suggest that he goes gangsta.

babybarry

Is it racist to tell Obama he should go ‘gangsta’ against his foes?  What I know of the word and what it means is black thugs, gangs, gangsta rap.  Now if it was spelled ‘gangster’ it would reference any gang member, but typically it indicates old skool mafia mob action.

Why spell it ‘gangsta’?

Here is a clip from the author of the article, Roland S. Martin:

For me, I’m sick and tired of Democrats having power and being unwilling to use it. I’ve always respected Republicans when they had power because they were willing to use it and maybe apologize later.

Today, President Obama walked into the White House briefing room and took some questions, and one of them revolved around recess appointments.

He has watched Republicans block many of his appointments, and now he says he made it clear to them that he will “consider” making some when the U.S. Senate goes into recess.

“One senator, as you all are aware, had put a hold on every single nominee that we had put forward due to a dispute over a couple of earmarks in his state,” President Obama said.

“In our meeting, I asked the congressional leadership to put a stop to these holds in which nominees for critical jobs are denied a vote for months. Surely we can set aside partisanship and do what’s traditionally been done to confirm these nominations.

If the Senate does not act — and I made this very clear — if the Senate does not act to confirm these nominees, I will consider making several recess appointments during the upcoming recess, because we can’t afford to allow politics to stand in the way of a well-functioning government.”

Obama’s critics keep blasting him for Chicago-style politics. So, fine. Channel your inner Al Capone and go gangsta against your foes. Let ‘em know that if they aren’t with you, they are against you, and will pay the price.

The bold and underlining are mine.

So, why mix Al Capone with ‘gangsta’? Al Capone was a Gangster.

Here are a few definitions of ‘Gangsta’:

Gangsta may refer to:

If you are so inclined to play around, you can go here and “Shed that weak-ass honky image with your very own gangsta name!” (In case you are wondering, my gangsta name is ‘Sweet Dung Beetle’.  I don’t think it’s cool enough.)

Obama told us that words mean something and I am holding everyone to it.

Did the author commit an unconscious racist error is using what is black slang when referring to what Obama should do to the people’s representatives?  The representatives recently blocked the appointment of Craig Becker, another Chicago thug with ties to Acorn and SEIU, to the National Labor Relation’s Board (NLRB).  This pissed off Obama and I am sure his pal Craig Becker was one of the people Obama was hinting at when he said he might make appointment during the U.S. Senate recess.

Let’s figure this out, the people think that Craig Becker is no.t good for America.  You don’t have to dig very deep into his background to know that he is toxic to our republic.  Just two words, Acorn/SEIU, should tell you all you need to know about him. If you want a little more info, go here. They have a decent rundown of Craig Becker.

Here is a snip from that link:

Becker does not express a belief in individual rights of workers to freely choose to join or not to join a union.  He supports the idea that workers should be forced into collectives like unions that dominate and control individual working conditions.  Becker’s beliefs are the antithesis of American democracy and liberty, and his beliefs will have disastrous results if implemented by the NLRB.

Anyway, Obama wants this Chicago Becker thug on the NLRB. So he says he may just go ahead and tell the American people to shove it.  It was our representatives, based on our input who declined Becker’s nomination.

Evidently, the author of the article above thinks that Obama should force himself onto an unwilling population, disregard the voice of the people and thug it out, do what he wants cause he is the pResident.  We elected Obama to follow the will of the people. Last I looked, that was part of the job description when a person got a paycheck for warming the chair in the oval office.

So, back to gangsta.  Is it racist to call Obama a racially loaded name?  The author of the article is a black man, does that give him a pass?  Would it be different if the author was white?

Pete Visclosky under Ethics Probe – Trading Campaign Money for Earmark Favors

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise, Pete Visclosky is under investigation and it has reached a new level.

The Times is known to be a democratic paper, swaying their reporting to reflect a socialist agenda, but they do at times, when the story is too large to ignore, make mention of democratic corruption.

Anyone who went to a Town Hall this month ( I went to three, it sucked, was torture, but I forced myself in the name of accurate reporting).

So here is Pete Visclosky finally being investigated.  Mind you, congress critters are not poked and prodded for wrongdoing at this level every day.  Pete is right up there with John Murtha , Charlie Rangle and some others on the ranking of the top corrupt officials.  You only needed to look into his eyes at a meeting and you could see he was lying.

It is time folks to elect a person who will honestly take charge of your interests, and represent YOU.  No more Petey.   He can take a hike along with his bag boy Mark.

Here is The Times article, written by : Christine Kraly

The U.S. House ethics committee announced for the first time Friday that it has been probing since early last month whether U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky traded campaign cash for multimillion-dollar federal earmarks.

The Committee on Standards of Official Conduct confirmed it is extending its review of the Merrillville Democrat, whose ties to a powerful lobbying firm are under federal criminal investigation.

The ethics committee will announce its “course of action” on or before March 2, the panel said.

In a statement Friday, Visclosky said he “intends to cooperate fully and believes the committee will conclude that he engaged in no wrongdoing whatsoever.”

He said he “looks forward to getting this matter behind him and continuing to work hard to serve all of his constituents in the First Congressional District.”

The announcement reveals what some congressional experts say can be a confusing check on some of Washington’s balances.

The panel began its look into Visclosky’s ties with PMA Group on Dec. 2 based on a recommendation from the Office of Congressional Ethics.

The OCE is a nonpartisan, independent body created in 2008 to review allegations of ethics abuse from the public. Prior to the group, only the House ethics committee could initiate such a probe, said Melanie Sloan, executive director for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

If an allegation makes it to the second stage of the OCE’s two-prong investigation, it means there is “probable cause to believe a violation has occurred,” according to the OCE.

After the second phase, it must recommend either dismissal of the probe to the ethics committee or an extended review, as it did for Visclosky.

Sloan called the OCE recommendation likely “the least of (Visclosky’s) problems.”

For nearly a year, the U.S. Department of Justice has been investigating Visclosky’s ties to PMA, a now-defunct lobbying firm suspected of making “straw” donations to lawmakers, concealing the true source of the money.

PMA had for years been Visclosky’s top fundraising source, sending millions to the congressman, who helped award PMA clients with federal earmarks. Visclosky’s congressional office, campaign committees and some employees, including former Chief of Staff Chuck Brimmer, were subpoenaed in May.

Come on District 1, don’t let Gary, Indiana,  send this POS back to DC again.  Step up and stand up.

Rio Hoses Chicago, Wins Bid for 2016 Olympics.

Yeah !  Chicago gets the FIRST cut in the first round, is sliced out of the running, right out of the gate and the Olympic Committee chooses Rio de Janeiro.

Rio gets the 2016 Olympics

Anyone who knows Chicago knows that inviting something like the Olympics, with all of the associated building and preparation for the games would have shifted the Daley Chi-Town corruption machine into overdrive.

Now Obama will have to figure out another way to grease the palms of the Chi-Town thugs who helped elect him.
