This event is a piece of the United States history.  The current administration has control of most media outlets. We are able to view the lack of coverage from, for example, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN as indicators that we can no longer see the truth or hear the news from those agencies. The current administration has swallowed them up and they are now the mouthpiece for government controlled information. Can anyone say North Korea, Venezuela? State controlled media is here in the USA. Obama recently added a FCC czar. Do the math folks. The intent and purpose of this FCC czar is to control the information given to the American People and ‘redistribute’ the media airwaves to state controlled left wing organizations. They have already begun the process and that is another post to be aired down the road.

So much BS, so little time.

Here is another video I took of the march. There were waves and waves of people.  During the march, as we walked down Pennsylvania Avenue, we heard a rumble, sounding like a low roar, with the sound getting louder as it neared. We couldn’t make out what was being said until the wave of the chant neared us. It became clear that the crowd was saying, “You Lie. You Lie.” and we joined in as the wave became us and those in front of us caught the wave and picked it up. It was a very surreal experience, very moving and powerful.

If your plan for a government takeover of healthcare was such an honorable and beneficial plan, you would not be hitting the road and the airwaves, once again, campaigning, trying to pull wool over the people’s eyes. It doesn’t matter whether you disguise your intentions of a government controlled health care plan. It doesn’t matter what you call what you are doing.  Every proposed healthcare plan is currently unconstitutional.  Start telling the truth to the American people. ( I KNOW YOU don’t wanna hear those two words again, you know, the words blurted by Mr. Wilson.) Tell them that this latest healthcare revision still has the language that gives the Federal government control over healthcare and that you just mixed some words around to try and hide your motive.

EXCERPTS OF THE PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS TO A JOINT SESSION OF CONGRESS TONIGHT:

I am not the first President to take up this cause, but I am determined to be the last. It has now been nearly a century since Theodore Roosevelt first called for health care reform. And ever since, nearly every President and Congress, whether Democrat or Republican, has attempted to meet this challenge in some way. A bill for comprehensive health reform was first introduced by John Dingell Sr. in 1943. Sixty-five years later, his son continues to introduce that same bill at the beginning of each session.

This is the plan I’m proposing. It’s a plan that incorporates ideas from many of the people in this room tonight – Democrats and Republicans. And I will continue to seek common ground in the weeks ahead. If you come to me with a serious set of proposals, I will be there to listen. My door is always open.

But know this: I will not waste time with those who have made the calculation that it’s better politics to kill this plan than improve it. I will not stand by while the special interests use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are. If you misrepresent what’s in the plan, we will call you out. And I will not accept the status quo as a solution. Not this time. Not now.

Well, we accepted your challenge to the tune of 2 Million Americans from all walks of life. You had 810,000 people attend your coronation. The American people arrived on your doorstep Sept. 12th, 2009 numbering two times that amount, to tell you to ‘Knock it Off’.

We came. You left.

Hmm, looks like there are a few more than tens of thousands and it really sends home the message that the ‘mainstream’ (now referred to as ‘fringe’) news media that refused to cover the largest protest/rally/march/demonstration in Washington, DC’s HISTORY are truly a media outlet owned and pawned by the federal government. We cannot trust what they say.

You get your State Run Media, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN to ignore 2 million voices, you make fun of and degrade Americans by calling us ‘The mob’, ‘tea baggers’, nazies’. The words of one policeperson who was charged with standing along the parade route rings in my ears.  I stood near him taking photos of the marchers. People would come up to him and ask questions, make comments and generally just engage him. He couldn’t or wouldn’t say much of anything in response. He did say though, to a patriot that asked him something about the march. He said, “It sure is the most polite group of protesters I have ever seen.”

You would think that human nature, having 2 million people in one place, would cause some folks to flip out, act out and otherwise demonstrate some sort of rudeness. I did not see any of that.  People were sharing extra water, food, flags and whatever the stranger that they just met may need or want. We brought extra flags and I handed them to anyone who wanted one. I saw a couple walking without a sign or a flag and I offered him two flags. He began to reach in his back pocket, to pay. I guess he had been around a few hawkers and thought I was selling flags. I waved him off and told him, no, take these, there is no charge. He was elated and shocked and gladly took the flags, handing one to his partner. Immediately their arms went up in the air, marching, waving flags.

Through the miracle of cell phones we were able to hook up with Logistics Monster, Dr. Kate and The Dame Truth. What a great group of women they are. I so admire their blogs and postings, knocking it out of the park, just sayin it like it is. We walked the march together for a short while before getting separated. The crowd was thick and moving at a decent clip. If you stopped to take a photo there was a good chance that anyone you may have been walking with would be lost in the crowd. We did manage to run across each other late in the day where under the shade of a large tree we shared our feelings regarding the event.
