Diamond Rio – In God We Still Trust
Obama and Michelle graced the world stage in front of the International Olympic Committee and pleaded their personal case, stating how Michelle’s dead father would love to have the Olympics in Chicago. ‘Scuse me, but who cares what her father would have wanted? Who cares what she wants, who cares what Obambi wants? The Olympics are not about ,”It would be so cool for me to have the Olympics in my backyard and I could walk there with my two daughters” type of plea, the plea that Mr. Oboe placed in front of the IOC.
Once again, for those that missed it, the Obama Family made this trip to Denmark all about THEM. And we paid for it to the tune of about 1.5 million dollars. Yep a buttload of jets, cars flown over, people, makeup artists, special food, you name it. All on the taxpayer’s dime so that Bambi and Bambette could stand there, being the ego maniacs that they are and tell the IOC just how good it would make them feel if they had the Olympics in their neighborhood, just how great it would be for Bambette’s dead father (like he cares) to see the IOC give this special gift to the Obama’s ‘hometown’. The Obama crew made the IOC bid all about THEM, not about gracing America with the games, but gracing Obama with the games.
Epic Fail.
One of my stops along the way was a visit to the war memorials. The video clip below is from the World War II Memorial. Each memorial has to be seen in order to truly be felt. Something gets inside of you and produces a deep sense of what a warrior is, what a patriot is when you realize the ordinary Americans who gave up their places on this earth to defend our freedoms. They sacrificed their lives so that you and I could march, say what is on our mind, write politicians, have freedom of speech, protest, demonstrate and have the means to leave our home towns and travel without impediment.
It says much about what I believe about the spirit of the march.
This is what the street normally looks like, at Pennsylvania and 13th, Freedom Plaza.
We left the hotel with plenty of time to reach Freedom Plaza, the jumping off point for the march.
Our hotel was booked, not a room was in sight and people began leaving for the march at 7am. We caught a shuttle to the train station and found more people beginning to assemble. A long line was in front of the automated machines that dispense subway tickets. More people were waiting at the station platform. It was 9am on a Saturday and the joint was getting busy. People were everywhere, carrying signs, chairs, coolers and a pocketful of anticipation. The energy in the air was electric.
We were boarding at the beginning of the subway line. There was only one station stop for the subway before it got to our station. When the train pulled up it was packed. A roar and a cheer went up from the station platform. We waved, yelled, shouted ‘Alright!’ and ‘YEAH!’ to the passengers on the train. Now who does that? Who cheers a full train, knowing that there is no room for you and you applaud having no seat on that ride? Patriots do that. We were all in this together and just to see so many people was uplifting. Waiting for another train meant nothing to us. We were willing to wait, knowing that we were all on a mission.
We arrive in downtown DC and never had to look at a map, the crowd flowed towards Freedom Plaza. We rounded the corner and this was the view looking down to 13th and Penn street. The once normal traffic was gone and replaced with this:
And this was at 10:15AM. People non-stop, streaming into Freedom Plaza. For all we knew, we were headed to find the Indiana State flag and assemble under our State flag. Little did we know that people had filled Freedom Plaza and the police directed the organizers to clear out people, there was no room for more people at the Plaza. So, the march that was to start at 11:30AM actually began at 10AM. People were marching, just going with the flow. Word was passed around that the march had started because there were so many people.
We had a rendezvous with some women bloggers who had flown in from all parts of the country and we began our march, some holding signs, some filming, some waving flags and everyone taking pictures.
I will post more photos and share more of my trip soon. We will be on the road tomorrow, headed home after spending and extra day in DC to take on more of the city.
Oh, and Axelrod, with your comment about the march, you know this one, “I don’t think it’s indicative of the nation’s mood,” Axelrod said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “You know, I don’t think we ought to be distracted by that. My message to them is, they’re wrong.” Screw you. FFS.
This is the kind of BS that slips right on past main stream America. We have a male, a RAPIST who claims to be a woman and has now, through the legal system, been granted to a transfer to a woman’s prison.
Mind you, the women at the prison have no say in this and you can bet your bottom dollar that it is mainly males/men deciding that they will place a male, a rapist in their midst. Don’t even think about the position women are being put in by having a male rapist in close quarters, in their bedrooms, in their showers.
This whole ‘transsexual thing has to be exposed for what it is. It is a mental disorder, a psychological disorder. You can no more change sex than you can turn a dog into a cat. Biology is biology, so there is no such thing as a ‘ trans-sexual’ in a reality based world. You cannot become a female if you are male. It is biologically impossible.
Why are we, as a global society, allowing these males to determine what a woman is and then legally granting a male the desired ‘identity’ as a woman, as a female?
This has gone on too long and it has gone too far. The transgender movement attached themselves to gay people and now there is the ‘GLBT’ moniker which is repulsive. Transgendered persons are mentally ill and have nothing to do with the ‘GLB’ sexual orientation group. Get that ‘T’ off the ‘GLB’ if you are going to do anything. Stop any EDNA bill that has anything to do with any transgender issue and make these men own up to their mental illness and get help for their condition. Stop coddling them by saying “Oh, sure you are a woman, you are a woman trapped in a male’s body.” That is pure bullshit and these guys need to stop trying to force men into women’s lives via this fantasy ’sex change’.
Article is below, bold parts are mine. I have commented within the article, but really, this is such bullshit and I have so much to say, you would not recognize the article if I said all that I wanted to say.
Be it enough to ask everyone to stop with all of this transgender stuff as if it is real. The only real part of that transgender group is that they have a mental aliment and need help. THAT is what society should address, helping them with their illness, not giving them methods to carry out their sick fantasy of ‘changing sex’. Males cannot ever be female, so stop playing into their hand, stop enabling their fantasy. This is just nuts. Now the doods have placed a rapist, a man, in close quarters with women in a women’s prison. NUTS! And don’t tell me that just because he murdered a male he should do just fine in a women’s prision. He is a rapist and a murderer and usually people who are capable of those acts are equal opportunity shits.
They are worried because this guy has it rough in a men’s prison and can’t wear women’s clothing without being harassed. Big effin deal. I guess it makes sense to think only about this one male and what he wants so that is why you put him in a WOMEN”S PRISON?

Charles Krauthammer writes in the Washington Post regarding Obama’s ‘wax wings’ and Obama’s desire to control the people of America as he remakes America into his personal vision of a state (Federal Gov’t) controlled land. What Charles speaks to is how the American people have awakened and are bristling as they realize they are being played as fools.
In my opinion, more and more people are realizing that we have a group of people in a position of power they intend to use that power to create more control over the people, grow the government power base and place a few people in complete control of America while enacting regulations upon the People that hinder any ‘blow-back’ from the serfs. Some call this Socialism, Fascism, Communism. It is a part of all of those things. It is bits and pieces of all those ‘isms’. It is not American and we are now charged with working to save America from the same elected officials that we elected to protect us. The people we hired to watch the hen house are foxes. We were duped, half awake, believing campaign rhetoric. We are in trouble and now those people have power and control.
How do we get America back into the hands of the American people?
We stand up, we use our voices, we learn what a fox looks like and we demand answers to simple questions. We do not allow our hired representatives to treat their bosses as a distraction, we throw them out of office if they do not listen to The People, we work the polls, we work the smallest and largest of elections, we give what we can in time and money to support American candidates and we motivate everyone to vote and stand up for America.
Here is Charles’s post in it entirety.

Obama, the Mortal
By Charles Krauthammer
Friday, September 4, 2009
What happened to President Obama? His wax wings having melted, he is the man who fell to earth. What happened to bring his popularity down further than that of any new president in polling history save Gerald Ford (post-Nixon pardon)?
The conventional wisdom is that Obama made a tactical mistake by farming out his agenda to Congress and allowing himself to be pulled left by the doctrinaire liberals of the Democratic congressional leadership. But the idea of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi pulling Obama left is quite ridiculous. Where do you think he came from, this friend of Chávista ex-terrorist William Ayers, of PLO apologist Rashid Khalidi, of racialist inciter Jeremiah Wright?
But forget the character witnesses. Just look at Obama’s behavior as president, beginning with his first address to Congress. Unbidden, unforced and unpushed by the congressional leadership, Obama gave his most deeply felt vision of America, delivering the boldest social democratic manifesto ever issued by a U.S. president. In American politics, you can’t get more left than that speech and still be on the playing field.
In a center-right country, that was problem enough. Obama then compounded it by vastly misreading his mandate. He assumed it was personal. This, after winning by a mere seven points in a year of true economic catastrophe, of an extraordinarily unpopular Republican incumbent, and of a politically weak and unsteady opponent. Nonetheless, Obama imagined that, as Fouad Ajami so brilliantly observed, he had won the kind of banana-republic plebiscite that grants caudillo-like authority to remake everything in one’s own image.
Accordingly, Obama unveiled his plans for a grand makeover of the American system, animating that vision by enacting measure after measure that greatly enlarged state power, government spending and national debt. Not surprisingly, these measures engendered powerful popular skepticism that burst into tea-party town-hall resistance.
Obama’s reaction to that resistance made things worse. Obama fancies himself tribune of the people, spokesman for the grass roots, harbinger of a new kind of politics from below that would upset the established lobbyist special-interest order of Washington. Yet faced with protests from a real grass-roots movement, his party and his supporters called it a mob — misinformed, misled, irrational, angry, unhinged, bordering on racist. All this while the administration was cutting backroom deals with every manner of special interest — from drug companies to auto unions to doctors — in which favors worth billions were quietly and opaquely exchanged.
“Get out of the way” and “don’t do a lot of talking,” the great bipartisan scolded opponents whom he blamed for creating the “mess” from which he is merely trying to save us. If only they could see. So with boundless confidence in his own persuasiveness, Obama undertook a summer campaign to enlighten the masses by addressing substantive objections to his reforms.
Things got worse still. With answers so slippery and implausible and, well, fishy, he began jeopardizing the most fundamental asset of any new president — trust. You can’t say that the system is totally broken and in need of radical reconstruction, but nothing will change for you; that Medicare is bankrupting the country, but $500 billion in cuts will have no effect on care; that you will expand coverage while reducing deficits — and not inspire incredulity and mistrust. When ordinary citizens understand they are being played for fools, they bristle.
After a disastrous summer — mistaking his mandate, believing his press, centralizing power, governing left, disdaining citizens for (of all things) organizing — Obama is in trouble.
Let’s be clear: This is a fall, not a collapse. He’s not been repudiated or even defeated. He will likely regroup and pass some version of health insurance reform that will restore some of his clout and popularity.
But what has occurred — irreversibly — is this: He’s become ordinary. The spell is broken. The charismatic conjurer of 2008 has shed his magic. He’s regressed to the mean, tellingly expressed in poll numbers hovering at 50 percent.
For a man who only recently bred a cult, ordinariness is a great burden, and for his acolytes, a crushing disappointment. Obama has become a politician like others. And like other flailing presidents, he will try to salvage a cherished reform — and his own standing — with yet another prime-time speech.
But for the first time since election night in Grant Park, he will appear in the most unfamiliar of guises — mere mortal, a treacherous transformation to which a man of Obama’s supreme self-regard may never adapt.
