Bayh gives Indiana a Lump Of Christmas Coal – Votes Yes for Government Healthcare

Hey Evan Bayh, I hope you are not dreaming of a political victory in 2010 and thinking that the people of Indiana will forget what you did to us when you voted YES, twice, to proceed with the federal government taking over 1/6th of our economy which translates into your desire that we do not lead free lives according to the Constitution, that we instead lead lives that are under federal control. Even the average American now knows that you want a socialistic government.

Your comment here, Evan, says it all. You told the NY Times:

Lawmakers who attended a private meeting between Mr. Obama and Senate Democrats at the White House on Tuesday pointed to remarks there by Senator Evan Bayh, Democrat of Indiana, as providing some new inspiration.

Mr. Bayh said that the health care measure was the kind of public policy he had come to Washington to work on, according to officials who attended the session, and that he did not want to see the satisfied looks on the faces of Republican leaders if they succeeded in blocking the measure.

You lied to us Evan Bayh. You lied to us when you took the oath of office to uphold the constitution. When asked why you are doing this to the people of Indiana, voting to enslave us to federal regulation, voting to add federal expenses to the entire state of Indiana, knowing that the people will be punished via higher taxes to pay for your decisions, you claim to be doing what you always wanted to do, expand ‘public policy’ which is a code word for socialism. We are awake now Evan and we now know what you mean when you said that all along you wanted to expand government control over the people, that you desire the people to be powerless and the the feds have ultimate control over every aspect of our lives.
You did not want to see Republicans have a say in this healthcare legislation, let alone see them have any measure of success?  YOU Evan Bayh are playing partisan politics of the worst kind and you are not fit to represent the people of Indiana.  We did NOT elect the Democratic Party, Evan, we elected a PERSON who would represent us.  You vote according to your democratic party and tell the people to screw off. What kind of representative of the people does that?
Evan, the people of Indiana told you to vote NO on healthcare reform.  The country told you to vote NO on healthcare reform and you threw us the finger and voted according to your Party affiliation, completely ignoring the people you swore to represent.  You no longer represent the people of Indiana Evan Bayh, you have always represented you party over the people and in this critical time in US history, you voted to enslave us to the ‘public policy’.  We see who you are now and there is no amount of dancing that you can do between now and 2010 that will erase what we know you to be.

You no longer represent Indiana Evan Bayh. We know now that you have and will continue to vote along your Democratic Party lines, totally ignoring the will of the people.

Yeah, Nancy Pelosi said that they will now have some legislation come through so that you can pretend to vote according to the benefit of Indiana.  You hope that we forget what you did today, selling the freedoms of the people of Indiana down the river because you never had any intention of representing us, especially when it would take a man to stand up to your Party, when it takes a moral representative to listen to the people.

Come 2010 Evan Bayh, I will do something I have never done before. I will walk out my front door and work for a candidate that will represent the people. I will do everything in my power to get you fired.  You are a disgrace to Indiana and there is no amount of kickbacks, earmarks or sugar coated Senate votes that will change my mind. There is no amount of pork (Pork = stealing from us then giving us a dime back on our dollar and then expecting us to say ‘Thank You’) dressed as ‘gifts’ to Indiana that you can trot out that will ever erase what you did today.  Never will we forget what you not only did to the people of Indiana, but to the entire United States of America.

Here is my gift to you Evan, for your enjoyment over the holidays:

Anastacia would die of breast cancer if Obama gets his way with the takover of Healthcare.

Listen to Anastacia, a USA gal, a woman, a singer who got breast cancer at age 29.

If Obama had his way with his proposed Healthcare reform, she would be dead by now. Pay attention to the details folks. Obama is going to tax you, tell you when you can get treatment and the bottom line is that he will control your life via governmental bureaucracy. If you think that people on welfare are trash and are stoopid for filling out all those papers and standing in line then wait until it is your turn to stand in line for healthcare.  Do NOT be fooled, this stuff is bad news.

Look it up, take a break from watching CNN, ABC, NBS, CBS, MSNBC and the programs that tell you lies through omission. Have they told you yet that the Climate Change scare is a hoax? If you do not know that fact by now then you should start watching news agencies that actually deliver the news ( Fox anyone?).

Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in January, 2003, singer/songwriter Anastacia has become resolved to channel her energies into raising funds and awareness that will specifically target younger women who are stricken, and who have no family history of the disease.

For this purpose, the Anastacia Fund has been established through The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Anastacia is concerned that women under the age of 40 are not generally targeted for breast cancer screening, self-examination and mammograms, except in situations where there is a family history of breast cancer. She is determined to change these statistics.

‘Freak of Nature’  happens to be my current theme song. You want to lose that voice? Silence her because you think that it is not cost effective to screen for breast cancer before 50? She was 29 for crap’s sake when she got breast cancer.

Anastacia – Freak of Nature

Anastacia – “I ask of You (With Pavarotti)” – Neither one sings with other people on the fly, so for them to sing together is a big deal.  And you want her to be dead already with Obama’s healthcare plan?

Anastacia – I Ask Of You (With Pavarotti)

Yeah, sleep on that and then wake up and call all of your state representatives and tell them to vote NO on this healthcare reform legislation.

Lugar, Donnelly, Visclosky vote in favor of Socialized Medicine against the People’s Wishes

The American people did not want the Health Care reform bill weeks ago when it was being voted on in Pelosi’s House and they did not want it in Reid’s Senate but the rat basturds voted it through regardless of the people’s wishes.

What does this say for our non-representatives? It says that special interest groups, lobbyists, big business have more clout than the people the representatives are supposed to serve.

Oh You Democrats, Don't Be an Ass

Oh You Democrats, Don't Be an Ass

Pete Visclosky and Joe Donnelly voted yes in the House, Bayh voted yes in the Senate. When Lugar’s office was asked, directly, in person if the NO stack was larger than the YES stack, according to the letters, calls and emails that he received, his minion refused to answer. They do not want us to know that more people in Indiana told him to vote NO and that the majority of people were against this healthcare boondoggle. He has and had no intentions of voting according to the wishes of the people he serves. His vote, along with Vislocky and Donnnelly were based upon calculations of how to swing votes for re-election. They need the unions, ACORN and SEIU, the AFL-CIO to pull votes for them, so it doesn’t matter what the people of Indiana want.

Here are the polls indicating, for all intents and purposes, the way they should have voted and that vote should have been a big fat NO.

Poll: Support for health care plan plummets, Senate Democrats push ahead

A day after the Senate begins debate on health care legislation a new survey from Rasmussen Reports shows the highest level of opposition yet recorded. In a staggering reversal from last week the poll suggests just 38% of American voters now favor the Democratic health care plan against 56% who are opposed. The previous poll taken on November 13-14 showed support had grown to its highest level since mid-September with 47% of voters in favor against 49% in opposition. (Read the rest of the article here.)

Got that? 49% of the people told them to vote NO. Only 47% wanted them to vote yes, as of Nov. 14th.
As of Nov. 22 56% told them to vote NO and only 38% wanted them to vote yes.

Read the Rasmussen Reports here and see for yourself that the American people do not want this push by Obama to control 1/6 of our economy and bring a government employee into our doctor’s office and our homes. There is something very wrong with what they are trying to do in Congress and people are beginning to wake up. Something is very wrong when so many people are telling our hired help (Lugar, Donnelly and Visclosky) to shove this thing where the sun don’t shine and they adopt a cavalier, pompous and condescending attitude and vote Yes anyway. Plus there is something wrong with a Louisiana Senator being paid off to the tune of 300 million dollars to place a ‘yes’ vote for this legislation. What other kind of deals were cut? How much did Lugar, Donnelly, Visclosky and Bayh get to vote yes?

How many more examples does a person require before they realize that politics, as we have it toady, is dirty and that our non-representatives do NOT act upon the best interests of the people, but act upon their own best interest.

Vote them OUT. Contact a Tea Party, a Patriot group, ANY group that places principle before party. We must act in whatever way we can be that calling, writing, emailing, visiting their local offices, protesting,  whatever we are able to do in order to get them to pay attention and let them know that we are watching them, we are taking notes and come 2010 they will face an election period like none other.

Do not expect the Republicans to help you as they are not much different than the Democrats in placing Party before Principle. Find a candidate that resonates with your goals and desires, find a person who place Principle before Party and believes in the Constitution.

Rationing, Health Care and Mammograms… Signs or Omens of Health Care “Reform”

From Courage to See:

Rationing, Health Care and Mammograms… Signs or Omens of Health Care “Reform”

If you aren’t paying attention, perhaps now you will.  For decades organizations such as the American Cancer Society have recommended  early baseline mammography for women starting at age 40.  In addition for decades feminists have advocated that women learn more about their bodies; encouraging  women  to learn breast self-exam techniques.

Any woman my age should remember the early book “Our Bodies, Ourselves,” which was the first comprehensive book which advocated women learning about their bodies. These groups (Feminists) and organizations (such as The American Cancer Society) care about the well-being of the woman, unlike the US Preventative Services Task Force.

The focus of this governmental agency centers on using a cost analysis, weighing treatment or procedure cost against benefit and outcome.  Welcome to rationing, the government decides who can get which procedures and whether these procedures and treatments are cost effective.

New Breast Cancer Guidelines…

Congress refuses to allow petitions ignores 1st Amendment

Interesting.

Our congresscritters have blocked petitions from being delivered. This reminds me of the three monkeys, ‘Hear no evil, See no evil, Read  no petitions from the evil citizens’, or something like that.

What this has come to is our representatives are sending a message loud and clear and that message to the people is to STFU. Our non-representatives are making it clear that they do not work for us and that us regular folk are being a pain in that we won’t just shut up and go away.  Those pesky petitions with hundreds of thousands of citizens expressing their views are not important to Congress.

So, the latest ploy from our non-representatives and the current administration is to deny people entrance to deliver the petitions. They claim is is all about protecting the building from Anthrax, but watch this video and you decide.

There is much misinterpretation regarding the 1st Amendment and its meaning, what it is to protect. That is a post for another day. I will say now though that the First Amendment WAS designed to allow us, the common folk, the right to express our views without the Feds banging our heads against rocks for saying whatever it is that we feel like saying to them.

This latest trick pulled by our non-representatives is a direct attempt to erode the 1st Amendment and to silence the people.  Where in the heck are Lugar, Bayh and  Visclosky in this scenario? Why are they not down there at the building entrance telling the watchdogs at the door to back the hell off and let the people have their voices heard? Why are they not demanding to receive their petitions? As our servants, as our employees they should be fighting tooth and nail to get information from their bosses.

Watch this video, hot off the presses and decide for yourself what is going down in DC.

Michelle Obama really cares about women and Healthcare. Oh really?

Hypocrite Much Michelle O? What was that again about your deep desire to help the disenfranchised with your Socialized Fascist Liberal Progressive Obama Public Healthcare Plan?

Michelle Obama said women are being “crushed by the current structure of our health care” because they often are responsible for taking care of family illnesses, arranging checkups and monitoring follow-up care.

“Women are the ones to do it,” she said to an audience of 140 people, including representatives from groups such as the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the National Council of Negro Women. “Mothers are the ones that do it. And many women find themselves doing the same thing for their spouses.”

Let’s not forget that cherry picked job you were given as a gift as part of the Team Obama ruse in Chicago where you worked for University of Chicago Medical Center and were so proud to reduce the number of charity cases, moving the women who were not affluent out of your hospital.

Michelle Maulkin writes about it with details covering Michelle Obama’s scheme for Healthcare. I swear, the more a person actually learns regarding what the Obama’s did while in Chicago, the more you have to be afraid of what they will do with the new found power of the Whitehouse.

Read the entire article: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/09/18/one-woman-michelle-obama-will-not-mention/

“While a top executive at the hospital, Mrs. Obama helped engineer the plan to offload low-income patients with non-urgent health needs. Under the Orwellian banner of an “Urban Health Initiative,” Mrs. Obama sold the scheme to outsource low-income care to other facilities as a way to “dramatically improve health care for thousands of South Side residents.” The program guaranteed “free” shuttle rides to and from the outside clinics.

In truth, it was old-fashioned cost-cutting and favor-trading repackaged as minority aid. Clearing out the poor freed up room for insured (i.e., more lucrative) patients.”

Obama to all Americans, “If You misrepresent what’s in the plan, we will call you out.” Hey Obama, we showed up, you didn’t.

Well, Obama, we arrived on your and Congresses front door, stood at the steps of the Capitol building. We showed up and you did not. You threatened to call out the American people as if what you say are the only words having merit? We didn’t wait for more taunts from you, we showed up anyway. The American People have more knowledge about the various healthcare plans you tried to railroad through Congress than you have demonstrated in any of your healthcare campaign speeches where you behave like a snake-oil salesman. We want honesty and facts, not campaign speeches from a sitting pResident.

If your plan for a government takeover of healthcare was such an honorable and beneficial plan, you would not be hitting the road and the airwaves, once again, campaigning, trying to pull wool over the people’s eyes. It doesn’t matter whether you disguise your intentions of a government controlled health care plan. It doesn’t matter what you call what you are doing.  Every proposed healthcare plan is currently unconstitutional.  Start telling the truth to the American people. ( I KNOW YOU don’t wanna hear those two words again, you know, the words blurted by Mr. Wilson.) Tell them that this latest healthcare revision still has the language that gives the Federal government control over healthcare and that you just mixed some words around to try and hide your motive.

EXCERPTS OF THE PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS TO A JOINT SESSION OF CONGRESS TONIGHT:

I am not the first President to take up this cause, but I am determined to be the last. It has now been nearly a century since Theodore Roosevelt first called for health care reform. And ever since, nearly every President and Congress, whether Democrat or Republican, has attempted to meet this challenge in some way. A bill for comprehensive health reform was first introduced by John Dingell Sr. in 1943. Sixty-five years later, his son continues to introduce that same bill at the beginning of each session.

***

This is the plan I’m proposing. It’s a plan that incorporates ideas from many of the people in this room tonight – Democrats and Republicans. And I will continue to seek common ground in the weeks ahead. If you come to me with a serious set of proposals, I will be there to listen. My door is always open.

But know this: I will not waste time with those who have made the calculation that it’s better politics to kill this plan than improve it. I will not stand by while the special interests use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are. If you misrepresent what’s in the plan, we will call you out. And I will not accept the status quo as a solution. Not this time. Not now.

[end of clip]

Well, we accepted your challenge to the tune of 2 Million Americans from all walks of life. You had 810,000 people attend your coronation. The American people arrived on your doorstep Sept. 12th, 2009 numbering two times that amount, to tell you to ‘Knock it Off’.

We came. You left.

Here is a photo of us on Sept. 12th:

Here is a photo of you, leaving the White House Sept. 12th:

(I waved to you. Did you see me?)

Pete Visclosky agrees. Northwest Indiana Patriots are Tea Baggers.

Something has been gnawing at me since I attended Pete Visclosky’s Town Hall in Chesterton Indiana. Pete represents District 1 (Indiana’s First Congressional District which includes Lake, Porter, Jasper, Newton and Benton Counties). He has been in office since 1984, serving 12 terms. (26 years come 2010). His daddy was a politician and I guess the dog doesn’t stray too far from the leash so Pete decided he wanted a similar career.  Considering that ‘serving’ the people as a congressman is a SERVICE to the people and not a career, this brings up the topic of Term Limits.  No politician should be making ‘serving the people’ a career as that concept by itself fosters decisions being made by politicians that center on holding onto the career/ jobs rather than listening to and carrying out the wishes of the people they ‘serve’. The priorities are backwards and the career politician’s decisions are influenced by his Party affiliation, big business (read $$ for campaigns), lobby groups (see $$ again). On the list of the pork barrel / earmarks, Visclosky ranks 8th, out of 435. His ‘war chest’ for re-election is much larger than any challenger. Sing it with me, “Money makes politicians go-round, politicians go-round, politicians go-round.”

See:  http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/earmarks.php?cid=N00003813

“Pete Visclosky sponsored or co-sponsored 68 earmarks totaling $113,653,000 in fiscal year 2008 ranking 8th out of 435 representatives. To learn more about earmarks, visit Big Picture – Earmarks

Pete Visclosky comes back to Northwest Indiana bribing and intimidating us with our own money and we are supposed to thank him for his hard work.

Back to Chesterton and the Town Hall.  This town hall meeting was setup by the Democratic Alliance of Northwest Indiana (DANI).  Evidently that same group is in tight with the paid to play protest groups such as MoveOn, Acorn, AFL-CIO, SEIU and the list goes on.  Now how is it that the Democratic Party, not only in Indiana, but across the nation is working closely with leftist socialist groups? The paid-to-protest groups come out to support the Dems at every turn. The Indiana Tea Party Patriots, ordinary citizens who are nothing more than concerned citizens attended and outnumbered the paid protestors approx. 4 to 1.

Read here for the giddy blow by blow as told by Don Briggs who engineered the town hall event and called for Acorn, MoveOn and all of their ilk to attend and support socialism.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/8/4/761608/-Tea-Baggers-FAIL-to-disrupt-Health-Care-meeting,-lessons-shared.

#8    “The DANI executive board consulted closely with Visclosky’s office to draft the Public Service Announcement and to set up ground rules for the meeting. So, we opened the meeting by laying down the ground rules.”

  1. And then in opening remarks, I blew the Tea Baggers’ cover. Roughly, it went like this:

“Meetings like this one continue a democratic tradition more than 2500 years old, that of the ancient Greek “Ecclesia.” The term means “those called out”—called out to discuss and decide civic matters, and to defend their ancient Greek city-states, to defend their democracy. And you all were called out by notices in the local papers, radio stations, by e-mail and internet, to discuss Health Care Reform and Clean Energy with our Representative tonight.

So know this: efforts to disrupt and thwart public discourse on civic matters are profoundly anti-democratic. But, that’s an obstacle we face tonight. It’s public knowledge that groups known as Tea Baggers intend to disrupt and thwart the public discourse on Health Care Reform in meetings like this during this month’s Congressional Recess. They want Democracy to fail. So, let’s face this obstacle together.

The Tea Baggers’ instructions are also public knowledge. If some people stand up, shout out and sit down; if some try to rattle us and the Congressman; if some pretend numeric superiority; if some try to stifle intelligent debate; then we can compare that behavior to the Tea Baggers’ instructions and draw our own conclusions.”

So, the self appointed dragon slayer of the people, the flealess leader Don Briggs of DANI, collaborated with VISCLOSKY in preparing his speech given to the attendees and approved calling the attendees ‘Tea Baggers’. One would think that Pete would tell Biggs, Mano e Mano, that the use of Tea Bagger is juvenile, completely disrespectful and offensive, especially at a town hall meeting with patriots in ages ranging from toddler to 90+ years old.  You would think that Pete Visclosky and his office, during this co-writing of this town hall introduction would have injected some adult stylized class and dignity and not taken low class shots at their constituents.  Such was not the case. Pete Visclosky and his representatives APPROVED the use of the phrase Tea Bagger and from what I hear (I was outside), Pete smirked when the word was used, showed no objection nor did he stand and correct Bigg’s classless attack on the people of Northwest Indiana.

Who does this?  Well, a politician so embedded with special interest groups, bribery tactics, and lobbyists does this as he has no need to respect and serve the people. The World According to Pete says that the people did not elect him, money elected him and Acorn, SEIU, Unions groups, lobby groups, THOSE are the money people and those are the people he caters to.

Go here to Acorn’s Report Card pdf where they rank Visclosky according to how well he has voted in favor of Acorn.

http://www.acorn.org/fileadmin/Centers/Press/Report/ACORN_Scorecard-ltr.pdf.

See Visclosky’s 89% approval rating with Acorn. He voted the way they wanted him to vote. This is just one example of one group that Pete caters to. If we could get him to actually tell us the truth, we would know much more regarding who is pulling his strings.

What are we doing sending a huge chuck of our money to DC only to have to beg to get it back? The State of Indiana wants us to think they are doing a great job when they ‘win’ some of our money back via a stimulus, grant or some other project funding?  How about just keeping our money in the State in the first place? That would greatly reduce our dependence on ‘begging for Federal  help’.

The Northwest Indiana Republican Party is in sedentary collusion with Visclosky and the Democratic Party.

I’m beginning to think that the Republican Party, at least when it comes to the 1st District of Indiana is in collusion with the Democratic Party. This may stand as the reason for the repubs holding up Leyva as their man. They knew from the get-go back in 2006 when they endorsed him he wouldn’t win and couldn’t win the 1st Congressional seat in Indiana. (Mark has actually stumped as a Republican Party candidate for House, Indiana, 1st District, since 2002.)

Do you keep running the same horse if he loses big every time, comes in last in every race? No, you don’t.  Who does that? People who don’t want to win do that. They will put a loser in the race. Hello, this is what the Republican Party has done to northwest Indiana.  They have abandoned us and are working with Visclosky and the Democratic Party.  They are in sedentary collusion with the Democratic Party. With that knowledge we can draw the parallel between the socialist bent of the Democratic Party, the Big Government mentality of the Dems and equate the Republican Party as being of the same mindset. As long as Visclosky brings in the pork and funds the Republican’s special interests the GOP is more than happy to have Visclosky carry the water.  Nowhere in this equation do The People enter into the equation and this is a serious matter because it leaves the citizens of northwest Indiana without representation from either party.

If you disagree, show me the difference.  Show me the Republican Party in NWI that does NOT want the government to control every movement of the citizens, all the while growing government while ignoring the Constitution.

Note: Don’t forget to make travel plans for the 9-12 Project. Cars, charter coaches and caravans are leaving northwest Indiana for the March on Washington, DC.  Check the web for details from any number of sites.

Retired Proctor and Gamble official sends an open letter to President Obama (‘You scrare me’)

The “Open Letter to President Obama” that has been making the rounds was correctly attributed.

It was written by Lou Pritchett, former vice president of Procter & Gamble and author of “Stop Paddline & Start Rocking the Boat.” Mr. Pritchett confirmed that he was indeed the author of the much-circulated “open letter.” “I did write the ‘you scare me’ letter. I sent it to the NY Times but they never acknowledged or published it. However, it hit the internet and according to the ‘experts’ has had over 500,000 hits.

Here’s the letter for your edification (and for a reminder that you’re not the only one who feels like this).

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core..

You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd
and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett
