3 Strikes and You are OUT, or rather, 3 C’s and you are Put Away for good. Scott Brown WINS

Obama supporters ought to pay attention to the three strike rule.

He has failed in these three C’s:

Chicago Olympics
Copenhagen Climate Change
Coakely in Massachusetts

The Scott Heard Around the World

The Scott Heard Around the World

Democrats may want to take a look at these three C’s and realize that everything Obama touches turns to carp (that’s another C, if you are counting). Obama has now thrown Martha Coakley under the bus, saying she ran a crappy campaign.  Was that really the reason why, for the first time in 50 years, MA, a liberal, heavily Democratic state, elected a Republican?  Could Obama’s push for healthcare, the midnight votes behind close doors, the lack of transparency and the representatives (such as Pete Visclosky) openly stating that they do not listen to their constituents?  Could it be that the people are fed up with politicians not listening to the will of the people?
People are upset with the democ-rats position of party before people.  MA was a hotbed of political shell gaming and shyster rule changes.  Our own little pro-Dem newspaper, The Times reports:

This Boston Globe article
sums up what happened. After Ted Kennedy died, the state Senate rammed
through a bill to change the law so that the Democratic governor could
appoint an interim successor. This came a mere five years after
Democrats rejected the very same bill, which in this case would have
allowed then-Gov. Mitt Romney to appoint an interim successor in the
event that John Kerry won the presidency.

That’s the subtext of “the people’s seat” comments that you heard during Brown’s acceptance speech.

The Democrats just changes the rules at will in order to keep a democrat in the seat, then changes them back when they need to pull another dirty trick.

The tea party patriots,I believe, played a large role in assisting this upset. Patriots from around the globe sent donations to Brown, phone banked for him, flew and drove to MA to campaign, watch the polls. Patriots want change, want their country back and they flexed their muscle.  I would say that come this November,  Evan Bayh and Pete Visclosky may get a run for their money.

James Simpson over at American Thinker brings up some good points regarding the Democrats and their lose to Scott Brown:

The real problem is that Coakley’s campaign defines what the Democratic Party has become today: arrogant, boorish, incomprehensibly ignorant and downright thuggish. Former Vermont Governor and Presidential candidate Howard Dean, for example, reacted to Brown’s victory by saying that now Democrats have to get tough, and not “deal with Republicans anymore.” Stunning. So that’s what we’ve been witnessing all year, with Democrats violating Senate rules, holding closed-door meetings, locking Republicans out of discussions, rejecting outright any Republican proposals and violating their own promises of “transparency.” But they haven’t been tough enough. Simply amazing.

But it was even more than that. People have had enough. We have had enough of bald-faced lies from Democrats. We have had enough of big spending bills being disingenuously presented as “deficit reducers.” We have had enough of massive government programs guaranteed to cripple the economy and lose jobs. We have had enough of ever more intrusive government attempting to take over every aspect of our daily lives. We have had enough of blatant corruption and coddling of terrorists. We have had enough of radicals attempting to ram their virulently anti-American agenda down our throats and calling us “domestic terrorists” for objecting.
This election is a game changer. Make no mistake about it. Not only is the U.S. Senate in play for Republicans in November, but so is the House of Representatives, state legislatures and governor’s mansions. Last night, Sarah Palin said to Greta Van Susteren on Fox News ”We just witnessed a wicked political pivot… This is a tidal wave sweeping the country…” She is right.

I ask that those beholding to the Republican Party do not see this as people swaying to their side of the aisle. People are tired of politicians that covet their  Party over the People and that holds true for the Dems and the GOP.

The Tea Party is made up of people from all political stripes and the common thread between everyone is that they love this country.  Massachusetts should serve as a wake up call to all politicians.

Pete Visclosky under Ethics Probe – Trading Campaign Money for Earmark Favors

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise, Pete Visclosky is under investigation and it has reached a new level.

The Times is known to be a democratic paper, swaying their reporting to reflect a socialist agenda, but they do at times, when the story is too large to ignore, make mention of democratic corruption.

Anyone who went to a Town Hall this month ( I went to three, it sucked, was torture, but I forced myself in the name of accurate reporting).

So here is Pete Visclosky finally being investigated.  Mind you, congress critters are not poked and prodded for wrongdoing at this level every day.  Pete is right up there with John Murtha , Charlie Rangle and some others on the ranking of the top corrupt officials.  You only needed to look into his eyes at a meeting and you could see he was lying.

It is time folks to elect a person who will honestly take charge of your interests, and represent YOU.  No more Petey.   He can take a hike along with his bag boy Mark.

Here is The Times article, written by : Christine Kraly

The U.S. House ethics committee announced for the first time Friday that it has been probing since early last month whether U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky traded campaign cash for multimillion-dollar federal earmarks.

The Committee on Standards of Official Conduct confirmed it is extending its review of the Merrillville Democrat, whose ties to a powerful lobbying firm are under federal criminal investigation.

The ethics committee will announce its “course of action” on or before March 2, the panel said.

In a statement Friday, Visclosky said he “intends to cooperate fully and believes the committee will conclude that he engaged in no wrongdoing whatsoever.”

He said he “looks forward to getting this matter behind him and continuing to work hard to serve all of his constituents in the First Congressional District.”

The announcement reveals what some congressional experts say can be a confusing check on some of Washington’s balances.

The panel began its look into Visclosky’s ties with PMA Group on Dec. 2 based on a recommendation from the Office of Congressional Ethics.

The OCE is a nonpartisan, independent body created in 2008 to review allegations of ethics abuse from the public. Prior to the group, only the House ethics committee could initiate such a probe, said Melanie Sloan, executive director for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

If an allegation makes it to the second stage of the OCE’s two-prong investigation, it means there is “probable cause to believe a violation has occurred,” according to the OCE.

After the second phase, it must recommend either dismissal of the probe to the ethics committee or an extended review, as it did for Visclosky.

Sloan called the OCE recommendation likely “the least of (Visclosky’s) problems.”

For nearly a year, the U.S. Department of Justice has been investigating Visclosky’s ties to PMA, a now-defunct lobbying firm suspected of making “straw” donations to lawmakers, concealing the true source of the money.

PMA had for years been Visclosky’s top fundraising source, sending millions to the congressman, who helped award PMA clients with federal earmarks. Visclosky’s congressional office, campaign committees and some employees, including former Chief of Staff Chuck Brimmer, were subpoenaed in May.

Come on District 1, don’t let Gary, Indiana,  send this POS back to DC again.  Step up and stand up.

Scott Brown(R) leads Martha Coakley(D) in MASS race for Kennedy’s Senate Seat – Dems poised to deny him a seat if he wins.

The people over at Public Policy Polling have the latest rundown on the race for Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat.

Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley at 48-47. That may not seem like a huge deal, but Massachusetts is a solid Dem state, with the Kennedy’s running that state since forever.

The Massachusetts Senate race is now a toss up.

Buoyed by a huge advantage with independents and relative disinterest from Democratic voters in the state, Republican Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley 48-47.

Here are the major factors leading to this surprising state of affairs:

-As was the case in the Gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia last year, it looks like the electorate in Massachusetts will be considerably more conservative than the one that showed up in 2008. Obama took the state by 26 points then, but those planning to vote next week only report having voted for him by 16.

-Republicans are considerably more enthusiastic about turning out to vote than Democrats are. 66% of GOP voters say they are ‘very excited’ about casting their votes, while only 48% of Democrats express that sentiment- and that’s among the Democrats who are

-Brown has eye popping numbers with independents, sporting a 70/16 favorability rating with them and holding a 63-31 lead in the horse race with Coakley. Health care may be hurting Democratic fortunes with that group, as only 27% of independents express support for Obama’s plan with 59% opposed.

-In a trend that’s going to cause Democrats trouble all year, voters disgusted with both parties are planning to vote for the one out of power. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about Brown’s standing is that only 21% of Massachusetts voters have a favorable opinion of Congressional Republicans…but at the same time only 33% view Congressional Democrats favorably. And among voters who have a negative take on both parties, who account for more than 20% of the electorate, Brown leads 74-21.

-Because he’s basically been untouched so far, Brown’s favorability spread is a remarkable +32, at 57/25. For some perspective on how good those numbers are, Bob McDonnell was at a +20 spread with Virginia voters in our final poll there before going on to a 17 point victory.

Scott Brown has the potential to be the vote that stops the healthcare reform legislation in its tracks.  The Democrats, fearing a Brown win are already talking of not seating him until after the healthcare vote has been made.  They want their majority in tact so that the will of the people (over 57% of the population does NOT want this bill to pass) can be ignored and the democratic house and senate can ram this thing through. The democrats want to stall the swearing in of Scott Brown yet to get the Al Franken vote, a dem who would vote like they wanted him to, give them 60 votes they needed, they swore Franken in fast.  Minnesota’s resident clown, Al Franken, powered by Acorn’s fraudulent voter registrations, along with SEIU’s thuggery at the polls, was declared the winner on June 30th, 2009 after Norm Coleman conceded.

As soon as the Senate returned from their July 4th break, the dems immediately swore in Al Franken on July 7th, 2009 and were relieved to have the full majority vote.

Yeah, way to go ‘progressive’ (read socialist) liberal democrats.  Threaten to delay seating a republican winner, yet rush through seating the sexist, misogynist clown Franken from Minnesota who thinks rape is funny.

Anyone see what I see?  The Democrats are not about the people, they are about the Democrats, power, control and transforming America into G_d knows what.  With the majority of America telling the democrats that we do NOT want their version of healthcare takeover, they proceed to do just the opposite, even to the point of interrupting the swearing in of an elected official who happens to be a republican, so that they can shove this healthcare bill up our collective whatevah.

Pay attention to who is now swarming the area, trying to help Martha Coakley, none other than the democratic thugs called MoveOn who are backed by socialist George Soros who in turn has a history of using his wealth to purchase political seats for the democratic party.

Senator Evan Bayh in Trouble in Indiana – Fundraisers Try to Save His Seat

While reading over at Hillbuzz I came across this article which tells of their associations in Chicago and the word is that the Dems are doing some serious fundraising knowing that Evan Bayh’s numbers in the polls have tanked. Evan Bayh is in some deep trouble in Indiana and the Dems are worried he may lose his seat.  You see, Chicago plays a role in Indiana politics, especially northwest Indiana, Lake County in particular with that deep money pit of a city called Gary being the recipient of a lot of Chicago/Democratic payola.

Mind you that Evan Bayh represents the entire state of Indiana, but the Chicago connection seeps into Indiana from the northern border. So for the thugs in Chicago to be campaigning and fundraising for an Indiana Senator is no big news.

According to Hillbuzz:

More on this later when we have time to tell you the whole story, but here in Chicago there’s a push going out from big donors we know from Hillary Clinton’s campaign.  Evan Bayh seems to be in a lot of trouble in Indiana.

All it took was one Democrat — JUST ONE — to tell Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the White House that more time was needed for the public, let alone the Senators voting, to understand what was really in the Healthcare Rationing Bill before voting on it.

Evan Bayh had the chance to stand up, courageously, and tell Democrats they were operating in the dead of night, in secret, contrary to all their promises they would handle healthcare in the open following  the wishes of the people.

Bayh could have ground everything to a halt and FORCED Democrats to behave responsibly, sensibly, and in the manner they promised in 2008.

He didn’t.

That was his choice.

Though it pains us to side against Evan Bayh, we feel Evan Bayh sided against us in the Nightmare Before Christmas.

How much trouble do you think he’s really in in Indiana?  The talk we hear is that, as of the latest internal polls this week, he’s going to lose his seat.

Indiana Attorney General to review Constitutionality of Federal Health Care Overhaul Senate Bill

Finally, someone in Indiana is starting to act like a representative of the people and ask that the Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller take a look into the constitutionality of the healthcare bill. The GOPs are doing what they were hired to do and that is to protect the people of Indiana. Interesting that not a single democrat has stood up and demanded accountability from the federal government, demanding that all legislation, especially this push by the feds to control the entire population through this power grab called healthcare reform, be held up to the light and read for its constitutionality.

Every person elected to office has to swear on oath to uphold the constitution. No politician should have any problem with a review of any legislation to make sure that the federal government is not overstepping the limited powers granted to them by the people.

Pete Visclosky and Evan Bayh each voted FOR this federal takeover with Bayh voting ‘yes’ twice. Their pal Ben Nelson, the guy who got Nevada a sweet payoff deal in exchange for his yes vote on healthcare reform asked all of the AG’s to ‘call off the dogs

Meanwhile, you can add the Indiana’ s AG to the list that Ben Nelson originally complained about. You have the republican party to thank for growing a set and demanding that the federal government and the dems currently in control of America be held accountable for their proposed takeover of 1/6th of our economy via this healthcare legislation.

The entire article can be found here.

A snip is posted below.

WASHINGTON — At the request of some Indiana Republicans, Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is reviewing the constitutionality of the health-care overhaul bill passed by the Senate last month.

Several Republican senators say the bill’s requirement that most people buy insurance or face a penalty violates the Constitution’s ban on taking private property for public purposes without just compensation.

Republicans also say a provision that could treat some insurance companies in Nebraska and Michigan differently violates the 14th Amendment’s equal-protection clause.

Republicans used those arguments to back procedural challenges to the Senate’s bill but were defeated in party-line votes before the Senate approved the bill on another party-line vote.

In a letter to Zoeller on Tuesday, Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., wrote that because votes on procedural challenges took place only five days after the bill’s final language was made public, there was not enough time to study the constitutional issues.

Indiana law allows the attorney general to make “any reasonable or appropriate investigation or study” of federal legislation when asked to do so by a member of the state’s congressional delegation.

“This little-known provision in state law was intended for a circumstance such as this, where proposed federal legislation could have a sweeping impact on state government,” Zoeller said.

Zoeller said he will look at other issues not specifically requested in Lugar’s letter, including a provision added by Democrats to gain the support of Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson. The federal government would pick up all of Nebraska’s share of the cost of a proposed expansion of Medicaid but pay only for most of the expansion in other states.

In that same article it says,

The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, a self-described progressive legal association, has written a brief arguing that the bill’s insurance mandate is constitutional because Congress has the authority to regulate commerce and set taxes.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Tuesday that he doesn’t think “that anybody has legitimate constitutional concerns about the legislation.”

When you read the word ‘progressive’ read ’socialist’. The socialist party took on the mantra of ‘progressive’ because it was a politically sexy word that hid who they are and covers up what they really want to do.

I say that there is no way the feds can hide behind the commerce clause in that this healthcare legislation demands and requires the people to purchase something, and that is it’s own right is unconstitutional. What is next? The feds own GM, and GM’s profits are falling, so the feds say ” From now until the end of 2011, the only cars available for your purchase will be GM cars.” ?

Universal Voter Registration coming in January – Another Stealth Ploy by the Democrats.

The Federal government is poised to takeover voter registration from the States.  If you thought fraud was bad with Acorn, this is the Motor Voter registration nightmare on steroids. In January the Democrats plan to ram this through Congress and they hope you don’t notice.

You can watch a video here where The Wall Street Journal’s John Fund describes what the Democrats are planning to do by proposing universal voter registration.

It is time folks to contact your Senators and Congress critters and voice your opinions. This is another power and control grab by the Feds.

James Simpson at American Thinker writes:

What the Dems Know: Universal Voter Registration

By James Simpson

Many are puzzled that Democrats persist in ramming unpopular and destructive legislation down our collective throats with no apparent concern for their plummeting poll numbers. A widespread belief is that the Democrats are committing political suicide and will be swept from one or both houses of Congress with unprecedented electoral losses next November. But since Democrat politicians rarely do things that will not ultimately benefit themselves, this column asked two weeks ago, “What do they know that we don’t?”

We may have found out. It’s called universal voter registration. The Wall Street Journal’s John Fund described the Democrat plan recently at a David Horowitz Freedom Center forum. Watch the video here.
Fund describes the proposal as follows:
In January, Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank will propose universal voter registration. What is universal voter registration? It means all of the state laws on elections will be overridden by a federal mandate. The feds will tell the states: ’take everyone on every list of welfare that you have, take everyone on every list of unemployed you have, take everyone on every list of property owners, take everyone on every list of driver’s license holders and register them to vote regardless of whether they want to be …’
Fund anticipates that Congress will attempt to ram this legislation through, as with the health care bill. What a surprise! Fund covers the vote issue at greater length in his book, How the Obama Administration Threatens to Undermine Our Elections.
Leftist groups are already arguing that universal voter registration will solve all the problems with our voting system. But the left created most of these problems. The radical leftist Nation Magazine, for example, absolutely loves the idea of universal voter registration. This is the same magazine, however, that advanced Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven’s Manufactured Crisis strategy. The Cloward/Piven strategy was designed to undermine government institutions by overwhelming them with impossible demands for services. Cloward and Piven focused on welfare, housing, and voting as the main targets of this strategy, and the radical group ACORN was specifically created for the purpose of executing it.

Obama Appoints a Transgender to Commerce Department – Psst – The is no such thing as a ’sex’ change

This is troubling for all of America.

President Obama Names Transgender Appointee to Commerce Department

First off a person born male will be male all of his life.  No amount of surgery or pills will ever make them female.  We have the psychiatric industry to thank for this MTF, Transgender, gender identity problem. Persons who claim GID (Gender Identity Disorder) are people who say things like, “I was born in the wrong body”, “Even as a little boy, I always felt like a girl”.  It is all in their head and they have a mental illness. Their mental illness is so severe that they desire to maim and butcher their healthy bodies in order to resemble their targeted gender identity.

It is biologically impossible to create a female from a male.  This ’sex change’ jargon is impossible.  Males will forever be male.  Turning your penis into a cavity, surgically pinning the tip of your penis up inside of your body, to created a cavity, does not make you female.

The APA, American Psychological Association, has dropped the ball and has promoted this idea that males can become female. There is no scientist on this planet that has agreed.  Claiming that they have made a female out of a male through surgery is a claim that makes one wonder if the APA is sane.  Your DNA does not change if you have liposuction, a face lift or your penis inverted.

When you see the phrase ‘gender identity’ work against any issue they may have brought to legislation.  Transgendered persons need help, serious mental help and allowing them to claim a different sex is not good for them or America.

Already we have ‘gender identity’ laws where a male can walk into a female only space as long as he simply claims to ‘be a woman’.  He just has to mouth the words. That is gender identity at work.  Gender identity says that males can come into your little girls changing rooms at the pool, because they have a law that says that their gender identity of being a woman makes them a woman. All these males have to do, even while sporting their completed male genitalia, is to say, “I am a woman”. That is what this ‘gender identity’ stuff does.

Get real folks.  Transgender is not good news.  We should hold the APA’s feet to the fire and demand that they cease to promote genital mutilations as a remedy or salve to a severe mental illness. The APA should be investigated for their promotion of mutilating surgery on healthy bodies as a treatment for a mental illness.

GID/Transsexualism/Transgender is a mental illness where only the most severe of the mentally ill are offered surgery as a way to help them with their madness.  The only other similar operation performed on the mentally ill is the lobotomy.

Folks, do not ever believe a male can become a female, a woman.  That is a lie.

So, now we have a male, pretending to be a woman, appointed to a position in our government, and he wants many more just like him to be a part of running this country.

Yeah, go Obama.

Secret Service Investigating Obama Effigy – Where were they when Sarah Palin was hanged?

Oh wait, the hanging of Sarah Palin in effigy was committed by two gay males.  Of course that was no big deal, gay males are known to hate women, right?.  So it was of no huge importance when gay men attack women. It was no big deal when gay men hung a woman, Sarah Palin, from a noose.  It just guys being guys.

It is really serious though, when men attack men.  Some dude (we know it was a dude, women don’t pull this particular kind of stunt), hung a black doll, placed the name Obama on it’s neck and made reference to Carter.

Yeah, bring out the goon squads. Go after the person who hung a doll in effigy of grand poo-pah Obama.  It is of national concern.

Hmm, and what did the gay men get as punishment for hanging Sarah Palin?  I think it was a bid on Ebay, that is what they got. They placed their hatred of women on Ebay, for profit.  The goon squads did not have a problem when it was a woman being hung. It’s a man’s world after all.

Funny how that works out.  Straight males protecting the gay men, even though they can’t stand gay men.  But, when it comes to women, the straight dudes welcome gay men if the gay guys are harassing and placing women in hanging nooses.

Listen gay guys, either you are for the equality of all, or you are not.   If you are, then you must acknowledge the discrimination and harm done to your sisters.

You cannot have it all guys.  Women are looking and listening, and being the majority of the population, we are watching what you do.  Deal with it.

Patriots across the nation – Help Scott Brown – he can help defeat Obamamcare

Oh My, Texas Darling has posted, after an absence.

She posts here, a reveling article regarding what is happening in Massachusetts, and how the entire nation can help.

Stop ObamaScare, Join the Scott Brown Brigade.

© 2009 TexasDarlin/TDBlog

Martha Coakley is for ObamaScare.

Scott Brown is against ObamaScare.

In 3 weeks, the smart citizens of Massachusetts will elect one of them to the U.S. Senate.

After a 5-month hiatus, I have temporarily re-activated the blog for one reason: to be part of the nationwide grassroots revolution to elect Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate on Jan. 19. His win would end the 60-seat fillibuster-proof majority currently being abused by Democrats. His vote could kill ObamaScare.

Love this ad:

He’s right, you know. My Democratic party used to stand for responsible government. Why do you suppose nearly one-third of registered voters are now Independent?

Martha big-d Coakley acts as if she’s a shoo-in, but don’t count out Mr. Brown. If there’s one crucial  political lesson from 2009, it’s that Democrats should fear the beast they have awakened. The people are fighting back.

No matter where you live, you can be part of this historic movement. Get involved, and take back your Congress.
