Obama Gives shout out to his Muslim religious Brethren as a ramp up to USA Thanksgiving

WTF is Obama doing giving shout outs to his Muslim comrades as a prelude to our nation observing Thanksgiving? Why not a shout out to Pagan Solstice, Diwali, All Saints All Souls Day or any number of religious cults organizations that gather to celebrate around this time of the year?  Why the specific shout out to Muslims? (Other questions include Why did he refuse to allow his state run news agencies such as NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN to accurately call the Ft. Hood terrorist the MUSLIM TERRORIST that he is?) What is it about Muslims and Obama, they he is shown not saluting the USA flag, not placing his hand over his heart for the National Anthem, not showing proper respect for America? Why bow to Arabs, Muslims and those that seek to destroy America?

Take a look over here and see that Obama places his hand over his heart for the Russian Anthem, but not the American. The photo will not copy over here, so visit their site, take a look around.

And then, to top it off, he gives a Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, which is said to be one of the shortest in Presidential history and omit ‘God’ and ‘Life’ in that proclamation? Is it that he does not serve a God except for the Muslim Allah? Is he bound by a Muslim faith to not show respect for any other faith?

President Obama continued his outreach to the world’s Muslims today, sending greetings to pilgrims to Mecca.

“Michelle and I would like to send our best wishes to all those performing Hajj this year, and to Muslims in America and around the world who are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha. The rituals of Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha both serve as reminders of the shared Abrahamic roots of three of the world’s major religions,” Obama said in a statement.

“During Hajj, the world’s largest and most diverse gathering, three million Muslims from all walks of life – including thousands of American Muslims – will stand in prayer on Mount Arafat. The following day, Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha and distribute food to the less fortunate to commemorate Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son out of obedience to God,” the president added in the statement, translated on the White House website into Arabic, Persian, Dari, Urdu, Pashto, Russian, and French.

“On behalf of the American people, we would like to extend our greetings during this Hajj season – Eid Mubarak.”

On behalf of the American people my ass. We do not desire Muslim Sharia Islamic Law, nor do we send warm greetings and toe licking bows to world leaders who wish America destroyed and dead and not necessarily in that order.

I guess that we should not even bother to look at Obama’s ‘Christian’ grandmother who is in Mecca for the Hajj

Anastacia would die of breast cancer if Obama gets his way with the takover of Healthcare.

Listen to Anastacia, a USA gal, a woman, a singer who got breast cancer at age 29.

If Obama had his way with his proposed Healthcare reform, she would be dead by now. Pay attention to the details folks. Obama is going to tax you, tell you when you can get treatment and the bottom line is that he will control your life via governmental bureaucracy. If you think that people on welfare are trash and are stoopid for filling out all those papers and standing in line then wait until it is your turn to stand in line for healthcare.  Do NOT be fooled, this stuff is bad news.

Look it up, take a break from watching CNN, ABC, NBS, CBS, MSNBC and the programs that tell you lies through omission. Have they told you yet that the Climate Change scare is a hoax? If you do not know that fact by now then you should start watching news agencies that actually deliver the news ( Fox anyone?).

Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in January, 2003, singer/songwriter Anastacia has become resolved to channel her energies into raising funds and awareness that will specifically target younger women who are stricken, and who have no family history of the disease.

For this purpose, the Anastacia Fund has been established through The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Anastacia is concerned that women under the age of 40 are not generally targeted for breast cancer screening, self-examination and mammograms, except in situations where there is a family history of breast cancer. She is determined to change these statistics.

‘Freak of Nature’  happens to be my current theme song. You want to lose that voice? Silence her because you think that it is not cost effective to screen for breast cancer before 50? She was 29 for crap’s sake when she got breast cancer.

Anastacia – Freak of Nature

Anastacia – “I ask of You (With Pavarotti)” – Neither one sings with other people on the fly, so for them to sing together is a big deal.  And you want her to be dead already with Obama’s healthcare plan?

Anastacia – I Ask Of You (With Pavarotti)

Yeah, sleep on that and then wake up and call all of your state representatives and tell them to vote NO on this healthcare reform legislation.

Lugar, Donnelly, Visclosky vote in favor of Socialized Medicine against the People’s Wishes

The American people did not want the Health Care reform bill weeks ago when it was being voted on in Pelosi’s House and they did not want it in Reid’s Senate but the rat basturds voted it through regardless of the people’s wishes.

What does this say for our non-representatives? It says that special interest groups, lobbyists, big business have more clout than the people the representatives are supposed to serve.

Oh You Democrats, Don't Be an Ass

Oh You Democrats, Don't Be an Ass

Pete Visclosky and Joe Donnelly voted yes in the House, Bayh voted yes in the Senate. When Lugar’s office was asked, directly, in person if the NO stack was larger than the YES stack, according to the letters, calls and emails that he received, his minion refused to answer. They do not want us to know that more people in Indiana told him to vote NO and that the majority of people were against this healthcare boondoggle. He has and had no intentions of voting according to the wishes of the people he serves. His vote, along with Vislocky and Donnnelly were based upon calculations of how to swing votes for re-election. They need the unions, ACORN and SEIU, the AFL-CIO to pull votes for them, so it doesn’t matter what the people of Indiana want.

Here are the polls indicating, for all intents and purposes, the way they should have voted and that vote should have been a big fat NO.

Poll: Support for health care plan plummets, Senate Democrats push ahead

A day after the Senate begins debate on health care legislation a new survey from Rasmussen Reports shows the highest level of opposition yet recorded. In a staggering reversal from last week the poll suggests just 38% of American voters now favor the Democratic health care plan against 56% who are opposed. The previous poll taken on November 13-14 showed support had grown to its highest level since mid-September with 47% of voters in favor against 49% in opposition. (Read the rest of the article here.)

Got that? 49% of the people told them to vote NO. Only 47% wanted them to vote yes, as of Nov. 14th.
As of Nov. 22 56% told them to vote NO and only 38% wanted them to vote yes.

Read the Rasmussen Reports here and see for yourself that the American people do not want this push by Obama to control 1/6 of our economy and bring a government employee into our doctor’s office and our homes. There is something very wrong with what they are trying to do in Congress and people are beginning to wake up. Something is very wrong when so many people are telling our hired help (Lugar, Donnelly and Visclosky) to shove this thing where the sun don’t shine and they adopt a cavalier, pompous and condescending attitude and vote Yes anyway. Plus there is something wrong with a Louisiana Senator being paid off to the tune of 300 million dollars to place a ‘yes’ vote for this legislation. What other kind of deals were cut? How much did Lugar, Donnelly, Visclosky and Bayh get to vote yes?

How many more examples does a person require before they realize that politics, as we have it toady, is dirty and that our non-representatives do NOT act upon the best interests of the people, but act upon their own best interest.

Vote them OUT. Contact a Tea Party, a Patriot group, ANY group that places principle before party. We must act in whatever way we can be that calling, writing, emailing, visiting their local offices, protesting,  whatever we are able to do in order to get them to pay attention and let them know that we are watching them, we are taking notes and come 2010 they will face an election period like none other.

Do not expect the Republicans to help you as they are not much different than the Democrats in placing Party before Principle. Find a candidate that resonates with your goals and desires, find a person who place Principle before Party and believes in the Constitution.

Rationing, Health Care and Mammograms… Signs or Omens of Health Care “Reform”

From Courage to See:

Rationing, Health Care and Mammograms… Signs or Omens of Health Care “Reform”

If you aren’t paying attention, perhaps now you will.  For decades organizations such as the American Cancer Society have recommended  early baseline mammography for women starting at age 40.  In addition for decades feminists have advocated that women learn more about their bodies; encouraging  women  to learn breast self-exam techniques.

Any woman my age should remember the early book “Our Bodies, Ourselves,” which was the first comprehensive book which advocated women learning about their bodies. These groups (Feminists) and organizations (such as The American Cancer Society) care about the well-being of the woman, unlike the US Preventative Services Task Force.

The focus of this governmental agency centers on using a cost analysis, weighing treatment or procedure cost against benefit and outcome.  Welcome to rationing, the government decides who can get which procedures and whether these procedures and treatments are cost effective.

Any one of these things, in and of themselves does not really matter.  But….  when you add them up one by one you get a phenomenal score that points to the fact that our Obama is determined to make America over into a Marxist/Socialist society.
All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place.
All can be documented very easily.  Before you disavow this, do an internet search.  The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone.  You and I will write that paragraph.  Will it read as above or will it be a happier ending for most of America?  Personally, I like happy endings.

If you are an Obama Supporter, please do not be angry with me because I think your president is a socialist/marxist.

There are too many facts supporting this.  If you seek the truth you will certainly be richer for it.  Don’t merely belittle the opposition.  Actively search for the truth.  I did.  Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Constitutionalist, Libertarians and what have you; we all need to pull together.  We all must pull together or watch the demise of a society that we all love and cherish.  If you are a religious person, pray for our nation.

Never before in the history of America have we been confronted with problems so huge that the very existence of our country is in jeopardy.  Don’t rely on most television news and what you read in the newspapers for the truth.  Search the internet.  Yes, there is a lot of bad information, lies and distortions there too but you are smart enough to spot the fallacies.  Newspapers are a dying breed.  They are currently seeking a bailout from the government.  Do you really think they are about to print the truth?  Obama praises all the television news networks except Fox who he has waged war against.
There must be a reason.  He does not call them down on any specifics, just a general battle against them.  If they lie, he should call them out on it but he doesn’t.
Please, find the truth, it will set you free.

Our biggest enemy is not China, Russia, Iran; no, our biggest enemy is a contingent of elitist power hungry politician/despots in Washington DC.

(added note, I believe the author may be  Matt Bruce from The Captain’s America.)

His piece continued from the above quoted article with:

Wake Up America! There’s still time in 2010 to take back America and send a message LOUD and CLEAR to those who think ‘it doesn’t matter’…

I happen to think ‘it does matter’…

God Bless America!

Political Research Databases, Research and Reference -

Liberty Chick has compiled a great list of reference and research links. She has really done it up right.

I know many of us like to drill down into the story behind the headlines. This database of links will become indispensable as you look behind the political curtain.

The bulk of the reference sites are listed below so that you can begin your quest today. I have placed a link to these sites on my sidebar under “Reference”

Research Databases

sunlight-foundationThe Sunlight Foundation

Transparency has a Posse! Their list of “insanely useful websites” lives up to its name.  Includes links to the following databases, many of which are among my own favorites and I may have also listed in other sections of this website:

If you’re looking to dig up anything in politics and shine some sunlight on it, this is a fantastic place to start. They know how to do research right.

CIRThe Center for Investigative Reporting

Founded in 1977, the Center for Investigative Reporting is the nation’s oldest nonprofit investigative news organization, producing multimedia reporting that has impact and is relevant to people’s lives. Building on their long track record of award-winning print, broadcast and web reporting, CIR is now seeking to help lead the way in transforming journalism for the 21st century.

To get a sampling of their work, take look at this great visual chart they did on “SEIU Money and Influence“.

DTNDiscover the Networks

A Guide to the Political Left. Launched in 2005 by the David Horowitz Freedom Center, DiscoverTheNetworks.com is the largest publicly accessible database defining the chief groups and individuals of the Left and their organizational interlocks – an online encyclopedia of the political left and its intricate interconnections.  DTN is a model for understanding how the left operates in our society, and how the networks it has created have penetrated our philanthropic, educational, and religious institutions.

(Another of my personal favorites!)
Muckety is an online tool for mapping relations and measuring influence. Published by Muckety LLC, a company founded in 2006 by a team with years of experience in journalism, technology and online publishing. The name Muckety derives, of course, from muckety mucks. Some follow the money. We follow the muckety, producing a daily news and information site based on online databases (which we enlarge daily), extensive research and old-fashioned journalism.

SourceWatch is your guide to the names behind the news. SourceWatch is a collaborative project of the Center for Media and Democracy to produce a directory of the people, organizations and issues shaping the public agenda. A primary purpose of SourceWatch is documenting the PR and propaganda activities of public relations firms and public relations professionals engaged in managing and manipulating public perception, opinion and policy.

NOTE: Use this source cautiously. While they claim to be non-partisan, much if not all of their information describing grassroots liberty-minded groups like The 912 Project and many of the Tea Party groups is inaccurate or misleading.  In challenging their content in these cases, editors responded with source materials that they claim back up the content entries; however, those source materials themselves are representative only of the typical mainstream (or fringe) media’s anti-conservative viewpoints, which are highly partisan and often entirely inaccurate, as we know.

I used to work for this company, so I of course recommend it!  Arguably the largest database collection of news, company, legal and public records sources, LexisNexis is probably the best research tool out there. Of course, that greatness comes at a cost – but if you don’t have a subscription to the service, you can purchase either Pay As You Go packages, or a LexisNexis by Credit Card menu (just sign up and use your credit card). This allows for flexibility by the document, day, week or month. Searching is free, you only pay if you want to get the details on any of the results.

If you need to find people, I like to use Intelius. Easy to use, up to date, inexpensive (Pay As You Go option). Gives you addresses and contact information, background checks, and more. And no, the system doesn’t notify the person for whom you’re searching that you’re looking up their info! Yes, it’s legal, as long as you are using it for legitimate purposes (i.e. to verify someone is who they say they are, or are a resident of the state they claim, etc.) and not for…say…stalking, or revenge, or slander…

Groups from throughout the state, including those in Indianapolis, Valparaiso, South Bend, and Fort Wayne are gathering together to make a visual statement that patriotism is not dead, that most Americans care deeply about our Constitution.

If there ever was a time to stand together, it is now!  And this is the event, “Countdown to Judgment Day” with thousands of Hoosiers coming together – salt-of-the-earth Americans, sons and daughters of liberty uniting to show Washington  we are determined to take our country back.  We will not accept bailouts, cap and trade, out of control spending, government run health-care, higher taxes, and most of all, politicians who ignore our sacred Constitution.  2010 could well be our country’s Armageddon.  With the very survival of our Republic in the balance, our involvement and commitment during the next twelve months is critical.

If you have voiced your concern, then now is the time to rally.  Hear contemporary firebrands who will challenge you to make a difference; participate in a cutting-edge, candid discussion of the issues with our Senatorial candidates; learn practical, savvy strategies to insure success on election-day.

Capacity of the gym, while large at 3600+, is limited. Over 15 like-minded groups from all around the entire state are co-sponsoring this opportunity for Hoosiers to speak to all our political leaders, in office now, and running for office, in ONE VOICE. The spirit of this makes me feel as I, and as millions others felt, about the DC rally on 9/12. Tickets are $5.00 each. If you were at the DC rally get that feeling again; if you were not, here is your chance to experience what we did, right here in Indiana!!

Nationally known guest speakers have been invited, and will be there: Reverend C.L. Bryant who was a major speaker at the DC 9/12 rally and brought down the house; Thomas Taaback, author, who has addressed thousands with his inspirational message so well, many in our state and around the country; Peter Heck, TV personality and motivational speaker, will bring his conservative message; and Emory Mclendon a civic organizer and an electric, stimulating speaker, will round out the gifted group addressing us on many topics including “what you can do to win in 2010″. Their facts, and educational, spiritual, motivational messages will resonate to the 2010 elections and beyond. Additionally a panel forum that includes the 3 Republican U.S. Senatorial candidates for the seat now occupied by Senator Evan Bayh, will answer questions that concern the very essence of the republic. PLEASE join with fellow Hoosiers for this once in a lifetime event.

Tickets can be pre-ordered from a variety of groups. The various tea party and 9-12 groups have a number of tickets slotted for their group, such as 150, or 500, etc.  It will not hurt to email a group and buy a ticket through any of them and have it mailed to you. Or, you can take a shot at buying a ticket at the door.

Continental Congress 2009 – Stop the violations of The Consitution

Not long ago a call was sent out for nominations for representatives from all 50 States to convene for the 2009 Continental Congress. The nominees, two from each State are in Illinois as we speak for approximately two weeks.

As We The People are gathering at town halls, on the streets, in front of the offices of our non-representatives in the House and Senate, as we write, call, fax and build coalitions, as we do all of that and more we still have much work to do. Many times I have heard people talk about how the Constitution is being destroyed. Congress has over-stepped it’s limits many times and in the wake of their actions we have legislation, limits and laws in place that only serve to give more power and control into the hands of the Feds while ignoring the original premise of The Constitution.  The Constitution was written so that the Federal Government has LESS power than the States, LESS power than The People and now we have the States begging for ‘grant’ money, federal funds and in turn operating the State under a weighty burden of Federal mandates.

It is all upside-down. The People have the most power, then the State and last is the Federal government. Look around you and who has the power now? Are you afraid of the Federal government? The IRS? If the Federal Government send out a mandate, say for how to school your children, does your State tell them to buzz off of do you receive a notice that your taxes are increasing because there is an added cost to comply with the Federal mandate? Why is you State NOT telling the Feds to buzz off? The States, according to the Constitution have MORE power than the Feds? When did all of this get reversed and The People ended up with the least power? How did that happen?  How do we fix that?

So, the Continental Congress has this purpose, as stated on their website:

The purpose of Continental Congress 2009 is to determine a legal and peaceful means to stop the violations of The Constitution of The United States of America and to restore Constitutional governance.

Visit the sites below, Dr. Kate, The Dame Truth and get the lowdown from folks just like me and you. They are there and are writing about the CC2009 as it happens. We need and rely on people such as those that are taking two weeks out of their lives to work toward righting America.

Dr. Kate is a representative attending the convention and she is writing about it here.
Visit her site and scroll down to read the entries covering the events. The Dame Truth is another great blogger who is a representative and she blogs here.
She also has a radio program and is a great resource for information.

The convention is being streamed over the Internet at This Link. Take a listen and watch the Continental Congress 2009 in action. You can also click on the map shown on that link and see who is representing your state. While you are there drop a dollar in the donation bucket. These are real people, not a corporation, lobbying firm or a political party. They need your help.

Tea Parties: Misunderstood and Vastly Underrated by Kyle-Anne Shiver

Over at American Thinker a post caught my eye because the author captures my experiences with the Tea Party people.

In Northwest Indiana we have patriots that gather around two tea party groups. One group is lead by a woman and the other by a man. This is not a woman vs man thing, but merely a way of distinguishing the two groups. The woman began her group from her living room and it is the largest in the area. She has never ran for office and has no plans to run for office. Her events draw large crowds. The man’s group is run by a politician who has run for Congress many times and jumped onto the Tea Party bandwagon as a Republican candidate for Congress.

His focus at protests has not been the protest itself but in sending out minions to gather names, addresses and telephone numbers. We know why politicians do that sort of thing. This guy does this under the guise of being a Tea Party leader who needs all of that personal information so that he can keep you informed. Yeah, right, you need our street addresses and telephone numbers? Mark my words, Tea Party people will begin to see his campaign propaganda show up in their mailboxes, at their front door and be phoned during dinner come campaign time. And some Tea Party people may wonder how this politician got their personal info. It is an underhanded and classless move by this guy.

He takes no initiative to pursue freedoms for the people as much as he takes his lead from the Indiana State tea party group. They are the self appointed leaders for the State of Indiana and reside in the Indianapolis area. He has pursued good relations with the State group as a method of eventually using them to promote his run for Congress. They don’t believe he is anything but a great tea party guy and the people in Northwest Indiana who actually live here and know about this guy have been trying to wake up State for a long time. The Indiana State Tea Party is being used by this guy and it makes a person wonder just what is going on in Indy when they have allowed a politician to take over a tea party.

People are murmuring that the Tea Party people should vote and campaign for this guy because he is a Tea Partier. They could not be further from the truth and this becomes a dangerous position for the Tea Patry. Just because a person, a politician has aligned himself with the Tea Party movement, he or she should NOT be given a pass and be viewed as the best candidate. People must investigate each and every candidate as an individual and ignore any R, D, I, G or whatever after their name. Republicans ARE trying to use the Tea Party for their political gain. We saw and continue to see that with The Tea Patry Express. We have a very clear example here in NWI with they guy who runs a tea party here, a Republican who saw this as a political vehicle from day one.

Listen, politicians such as the one I am referring to are wolves in sheep’s clothing. They take no action, join no group unless they see a way to use that group for their personal gain, for votes while stepping on the back’s of the unsuspecting Tea Party people to attain a self-centered, narcissistic goal of winning a political office.

This ties into what Kyle-Anne states as her experience below in that the tea party people smell something funky when it comes to politicians using the Tea Party Movement. Funky is not the word for the Patriots in Northwest Indiana. It outright stinks up in here.

Sure, politicians may have an opinion that is shared or resembles what the Tea Party Movement stands for, but to be a politician and run a tea party, to actively run for Congress and run a tea party, to pull some stunts at tea parties that shows people that you are a politician first and an American second, to write website posts that push your political agenda while pretending that no-one notices that you are a politician using the Tea party movement, well, those things do  not pass the smell test and yes, We The People notice.

Kyle-Anne Shiver writes: (Excerpts posted below. Bolding mine. Read the entire article HERE.)

Since last April, I’ve written a few columns on the Tea Parties, but I had never actually
attended one in person. I harbored a few misconceptions, formed at a
distance through the media’s drive-by lens. Being a woman who tends to
cower in crowds and who loves the security and solitude of my little
office-cloister, I had been content to write based on the observations
of others. But an Alabama homemaker-turned-activist, Suzanne Green of
Birmingham, pulled me into the bosom of the Tea Party movement along
with the
Rainy Day Patriots.

So what’s a Tea Party?

a nutshell, the Tea Parties are a visible expression of the widespread
rekindling of the love of liberty. This rekindling of freedom’s fires
seems to be occurring among diverse individuals independently, and then
they seek out fired-up others with whom to connect. Among Tea Party
participants, there is a demonstrated willingness to actually do
something tangible in order to claim those unalienable rights of which
our Founders wrote, and for which so many have given their lives in

may be the movement Americans truly have been waiting for. It’s the
real deal, the genuine article. It comes from the groundswell of the
people, not from the power-broker elites in political, corporate, or
religious America.
It’s middle-class, thoroughly unpretentious, with a
good sense of humor and a keen disdain for things like faux Greek
columns, tacky props, and professionally written hyperbole. At a Tea
Party, you won’t find puffed-up hubris or even a tad of the liberally
popular it’s-all-about-me syndrome.

Party operatives? Not
welcome. Political candidates?  Keep your mouths shut and your ears
open. Prefer a D or an R after your name? Not here, not on our time, or
on our dime.

The clear message: This is the people’s movement. Outsiders, opportunists, and party pols are vehemently not invited.
